Here are revised index cards for PCs, incorporating the revisions found in the ‘Alternate’ Core Rules (with a single saving throw and class skill modifiers):

Barrier Peaks on Kickstarter!

Posted in Miscellaneous with tags , , on 26-Feb-12 by K-Slacker

UPDATE: The Kickstarter project was successful.

(This is a cross-post from my Barrier Peaks gameblog.)

Jeff Dee is recreating his art from the AD&D module S3 – Expedition to the Barrier Peaks!

Read more about it on his Kickstarter project page. He has already completed several other similar projects, producing new originals for art which was destroyed during the collapse of TSR.

There’s only two weeks left on this project, and it’s currently at 44% funded, so now’s the time to support it. Come join a good cause!

Check this out on Kickstarter, or visit Jeff’s deviantART gallery for examples of his artwork.

Tempora Mutantur Character Cards

Posted in Miscellaneous with tags , , , on 31-Dec-11 by K-Slacker

After a strong November, I’ve been negligent with this gameblog for the past couple weeks. I’ve been posting updates on my Dwarven Glory site, and am now bringing some of the love back to Tempora Mutantur. As a start, here is a set of 3×5″ index cards for keeping track of PCs:

The basic look is taken from artikid’s designs, with clipart swiped from Mutant Epoch.

Enjoy, and Happy New Year!

Scavengers of the Mutant World

One thing that I should probably be clearer about is that I swiped most of the campaign background from an obscure computer RPG from the 1980s called “Scavengers of the Mutant World”. Credit goes to Richard Launius, Bruce Beaumont, and Chris Stassen.

Online Dice Roller

Posted in Miscellaneous with tags , , on 11-Jun-11 by K-Slacker

For the last couple of Skype sessions, we’ve used an online dice roller. I’m posting instructions here for easy reference so that I don’t have to dig up the information at the start of a game.

  1. Navigate to
  2. Select “Dice Room” from the upper right corner.
  3. From the web-based dice room screen, enter your nickname and select “Tempora” as the room name.
  4. Click “Join”, and you should be in.

Now you should be able to type “1d20” or “1d6+2” or “4d8” or whatever in the entry bar up top and click “roll!”.

We’ll use the dice roller for most situations. In some cases, however, I may wish to keep the result of a dice roll secret. (Or I might just forget and roll my own dice anyways.)
